Bought 2 packs as a Christmas present for my wife, one with a bottle of wine didn't work. The supplier was listed as Lvtong. I've only tried batteries and then USB. He didn't turn on! The other is a rearing horse, which the seller reveals to be Elsent. This did not run on battery power, but lit up when the USB port was connected. We liked it and it worked for about a month. However when my wife wanted to move it she pulled the USB connector from the back of the unit and the entire socket came out (the plug with the socket attached to it), obviously the solder was coming loose. So now it's unusable. Although horse looked good when he worked. These things are cheaply made and just rubbish! Don't waste it. your money
