I bought it to play with toys and not to crawl with my hand. Before that I used a mouse with 3200dpi, the difference is noticeable. The trouble with gaming mice in Linux is frustrating. Its pros: High dpi at a relatively low price. Nice flashing blue. There are weights to adjust the weight. Cons: Does not work out of the box in Ubuntu (and, apparently, in all Linuxes). There is a solution, for this you need to rebuild the kernel with changed parameters. The glossy surface collects dirt and fingerprints. "Whistling" if you listen.
