Disclaimer: I've been using this product for about a week and haven't used a blow dryer. As for my hair, I have thick, wavy Mexican hair. So far I like this product. When I bought this I was hoping for a sweet spot between a heavy hold lipstick which I use for a straight back and a putty which I use for a more tousled look with more volume. As it turned out, it was right for the money. Despite being labeled "Fiber Lipstick" I didn't see a lot of fiber and the consistency and application is much closer to cream. As such, it's very easy to apply to dry or damp hair and definitely packs some power. It's no surprise to me to achieve a light look since it's so creamy. Despite this, this product has a very good flexible hold when drying and does not harden. I found this great for quick quiff styles or for a clean, sleek back with some texture. And the less the better. My only complaint is that the container is made too flat and has no grip points so it was very difficult to open at first. Just remember not to close it too tightly and you'll be fine. EDIT: I've been using this product for a few weeks and my initial review was a bit off. I don't have a blow dryer so I mainly use this product on dry, towel dried hair and while it's smooth and creamy upon application, it's great for adding volume after styling (and with my hands). . I can easily go from a side parting, to a neat haircut, to a voluminous messy look without the control/hold losing or needing water.
