Revainrating 5 out of 5

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

Forced to change the old macbook pro 2022, just the battery dried up, in the pocket of money for a stop Proshka, but the fell and took calamus, the design is also good, although it is outdated, the performance is like on a traffic jam 13, itโ€™s lighter, only the battery is worse, the touchbar is not in my cash register , I'm a retrograde, buttons and blind typing. For the first time, the first product from an apple feels complete and I do not see any difference in my work and even in performance. This is the cheapest macbook and at the same time productive.

Pros
  • the laptop is light, thin, lighter than my Proshka 2022, but just as powerful. M1 launches all projects, except that the translator with the latest ate on node js with the launch of chromium has become buggy, and then I think you need to ate the dependencies and recompile NodeJs. The rest of the software became native by January, all video editors, all IDEs, browsers, applications like forti vpn go by. Finally, it stopped slowing down the UI, since the first Retina, there are jamming on any MacBook, itโ€™s very annoying, there arenโ€™t any. For the sake of interest, I launched Dying Light on Steam and everything started briskly at a resolution of 2.5k + medium settings, 5 years ago it tossed and turned worse on i5 4430 geforce 660gt 2gb, I canโ€™t believe it at all. The sound is worse than the old one, but louder, the screen is brighter, pleasant, but about the same. The keyboard is now like in the MacBook Pro 2022, very pleased, although the old butterfly served me flawlessly. All Java and Python projects work through a translator, and in general, everything is not bad. I use a laptop for development in testing. Windows emulators are still in their infancy, there seems to be a pirate, but there are fewer screams. everything is charged with one cable, inserted type c from the monitor and you work, for the monitor you turned on the hub with a mouse and keyboard. killer feature, where my previous macbooks promoted the killer, nothing is promoted here, because there are none. Also a bonus is a small charge with a meager consumption of 30 watts.
Cons
  • You canโ€™t natively install Windows, but Iโ€™m a retrograde, I have a lot of specific software on it like ODB for cars and of course toys, Iโ€™m really looking forward to the arm version, the test version works not bad already. In the new maxi version, it is impossible to look at fonts on an external monitor, and there are bugs, something is constantly being corrected, previews that are missing after closing the lid are very hurtful to the eye. Yusb on one side, it's inconvenient, it's just even corny to plug two cables. In my caps, I didnโ€™t surpass the previous pros in terms of working time, I expected more. One of my legs is a little longer, the laptop is unstable on a flat table, how!?!
