Review on AERDM Black Housing Towing Mirrors for 2015-2018 Ford F150 Truck: Enhanced Safety with Turn Signal & Auxiliary Lamp by Jason Mitts

After reading this rave review from a supposed Ford technician who claimed it was OEM quality I took it for granted. I ended up returning them and buying new ones from Boost Auto Parts. If you want true OEM quality skip this, spend a little more for the Boost AP especially if you have special requirements like power fold or paintable cases etc. Pros: Defroster in top mirror. The temperature sensor works. When you are desperate. , it is excellent value for money. Cons - glass mirrors shake a lot even when driving at 35 km/h and it only gets worse as speed increases and/or road quality deteriorates. - Components and materials are cheap, especially insulation and metal. Bolts - they produce very noticeable road noise that cannot be corrected by tightening the bolts or reapplying insulation. Bottom Line: If you value quality, durable parts for your truck, save up for Boost AP mirrors. These Revain towing mirrors are for the desperate buyer only. The quality difference is day and night.
