Review on 🌑️ Accurate and Easy-to-Use: OXO Good Grips Chef's Precision Digital Instant Read Thermometer by Holly Hunter

Totally Useless - Instantly Readable

I've only used this once and let me tell you what happened. I roasted a whole chicken that I had salted the day before. I set my oven to 350 and roasted at 20 minutes per pound. Then I tried the thermometer. He showed that the thigh meat was 188 degrees. I was terribly worried. Who wants to eat dried chicken? I thought to myself. So I tried to test the breast meat. It says 200 degrees. 200! I almost cried then. We're looking for about 160, am I right? I thought my lunch would be ruined. My chicken turned out to be PERFECTLY cooked and surprisingly juicy, and nowhere near as hot as the thermometer indicated. This device made me spit in the eye of OXO. I like OXO most of the time, but they do have a few glitches from time to time. It's a mess miss. I just keep it in case I have to stab someone.
