It was easy to install, no instructions needed. I was concerned because my car has thin horizontal louvers and right behind them vertical louvers directing the air, but it still fits. It's probably a little weaker than some of the others, but unless you're into off-road travel I don't see that as a huge issue. It features a very easy to use clip that slides out to pick up your phone. After that, you can close it by pressing as hard as you like. I use an iPhone 5 with an Otterbox City Case and it fits great. Very quickly removed the phone and placed it on the bracket. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't tilt from side to side. It moves 360 degrees vertically, which is very convenient. However, due to the orientation of the air vents in my car, the phone sits too far to the right of the screen, making the screen a bit difficult to read. That was my only complaint and it's better than holding it in my hand while using my GPS app.
