Jars are individually bubble wrapped and lids have removable blue anti-scratch protective film. The metal carousel is delivered fully assembled. Simply unpack the jars, remove the foil, wash and sprinkle with spices. I took photos of the comparative sizes of different brands of spice jars to show the relative capacity and used a ruler to show the height. The labels come with a white pen that you can use to dampen the label and erase, as well as rewrite if you mess something up so they can be reused. The jars also have a plastic lid under the lid with holes for a shaker. You can leave or remove depending on the size of your spice.
