Review on πŸ”Œ DSD TECH USB to TTL Adapter SH-U09C2 with Built-in FTDI FT232RL IC for Enhanced Debugging and Programming Capabilities by Kory Shelton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's ONE do-it-all, in one rugged case

I have a ton of different serial adapters scattered around my desk and I hardly ever use them. Either it's loose wires with unmarked leads, or they're 5v when I need 3 by 3, or the power supply isn't marked either! Or my workspace is so messy that another empty board is just a recipe to short my computer's USB port. However, this is actually the only device I need to have. It appears to be a real FTDI chip (0403:6001) with selectable power and logic levels. The pins are clearly labeled and it comes with a set of Dupont wires. Everything is wrapped in a plastic case that protects it and your computer from other things on the workbench. Finally, Power, RX, and TX LEDs help identify connectivity issues. I would appreciate if the pins and jumpers were more hidden, but I would *really* love it if all my other serial adapters were converted to these.
