Review on 🧩 LEGO AT-ST Raider Building Set: 540-Piece Epic Adventure! by David Cash

Great display but the legs don't really move!

Lego nerd and student. This set has some interesting characters and looks great overall, but it has way too many stickers and the legs don't move, among other things. I would recommend it if it's on sale, but I wouldn't pay $50 for it. Took me about 40 minutes to make the set. Here are my pros and cons. Pros: The characters are very cool. The Mandalorian has a new headgear and cool armor on his legs and torso. He also wears an elegant cloak (made of sturdy cloth, not sponge cloth). He has a faceless black head under his helmet. I'm assuming this was made by Lego specifically because of the TV show. Other figures also have new details. Cara Dune's face is double-sided, while the two Klatooin Raiders have a single-sided sigil. The Raider is a sturdy and large model that isn't easily broken (although the cannons sometimes ricochet off the sides). The cab has a nice interior. It includes some very new cool details including a brown colored gold bar (similar to my photos). Rockets fire very well. 540 for $50 (0.09 cents each) is very good value (generally anything 0.10 or less is considered good). Cons: There are too many stickers in this set (see my photo). They are difficult to apply, especially the thin ones used on the legs. In addition, the kit appears to be very similar to the previous AT-ST from a few years ago, albeit with a different livery and some minor updates (see my comparison). Range of motion and will not move beyond a certain point, which remains unchanged in this version. This severely limits playability and makes the model more of a demo model than a real game model. Given that this set is on sale I would buy it, especially if you missed the latest AT-ST or really want the figures.
