I had already replaced the hard drive in my 2009 iMac so I pretty much knew what to expect. Thanks to this disk and the installation kit, everything went very quickly and smoothly this time. Everything you need to install your new hard drive is included, and the video instructions are clear and easy to follow. The temperature sensor wiring is spot on and fits perfectly. All necessary tools, including two sizes of Torx screwdrivers, are included. It took me less than an hour to insert a new drive and back up my computer. The only installation issues are caused by the four Apple cables, which are a bit difficult to reconnect. Otherwise it's a no-brainer. The Mac runs great now and the new hard drive is quiet and fast.
