The OEM part on my 2001 I30 had a flexible aluminum heat shield, the Sunsong-Pat used a fabric heat shield held in place with plastic ties. It doesn't matter to me as you can always use a flexible aluminum shield from an OEM part. I used it just like that but added extra turns of stainless wire. The new part also included two new washers for the banjo bolt and new rubber bushings and metal spacers for the top bracket. It also included a new cylinder block bracket, but I kept the existing one. After 300 miles of Southern California heat and traffic, I have no problems to report. It is inexpensive and looks like a quality product. I would buy from them again.
