I have used this brush dryer before and love it. It's easy to use. I like 3 modes: cold, solid (warm), dry (very hot). Very convenient! The only downside is that it gets very hot in dry mode. You can burn yourself if you're not careful. I have to use a cotton glove on the one hand to keep the hair in place and not fly out. As you dry your hair, place your gloved hand over your hair and comb through. Move/comb your hair as desired. The glove helps create the shine. Once you get the hang of it, you'll love the results. I would not recommend this product for very short hair.
