Review on TP-Link EAP245 V3: Omada AC1750 High-performance Access Point by Wiktor Malczyk ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am happy with everything, the product matches the description.

Still, there are still a lot of 2.4 devices on the farm, all kinds of chandelier lamps, a vacuum cleaner, and other Raspberry PIs of not the latest models, so the 2.4 blade, unfortunately, deprives the device of usefulness for me. We'll have to change, and this time definitely not on TP-Link. With its pros: Excellent features: link rises to over 600 Mbps per ac (probably more if there are compatible devices), gigabit port, good range, easy setup, multi-ssid support with vlan binding - what I needed: easy to set up , works great. For once there was no desire to change it to some Openwrt, the native firmware turned out to be good. Very pleasant appearance. Cons below: A year and a half after the purchase, 2.4 GHz died. At first, it started to fail until the power was restarted, then it began to turn off completely. And then it stopped turning on even after a restart. Interestingly, before that there was a similar access point of another model, but also TP-Link. And there, the 2.4 GHz range similarly died in a similar way.
