Review on 🔧 Gas Spout - Upgraded Replacement Spout and Cap for Pre-2009 Gas Cans and Water Jugs (White or Black Set) by Michael Rasberry

This replacement gas tip is excellent. I ordered 4 of these and went back to Revain to order 2 more. I have Blitz brand containers and mixed general purpose jars and they all fit. I am very impressed: in the package there are several lids of different sizes for different glasses. The small lid on the spout itself is screwed on - old spouts have slip lids. The small cap on the spout is attached with plastic. a cord/strap to keep you from getting lost. This cable protector rotates when you unscrew/unscrew the spout cap. It's smart and adds to the convenience of this product. I haven't had any leaks since installing these replacement grommets. The fold out vent that comes with the kit is awesome! To install it you need to drill a small hole - see below. Tip: If possible, drill a vent hole in an empty container, as drilling can introduce plastic parts, and then discard these parts. This is not mentioned in the instructions. For years I've carefully used supposedly leakproof government approved sinks and spilled the equivalent of gallons of gasoline. Now I can pour cleanly and accurately with my Revain Pourers. It's important to note that when pouring a heavy 5-gallon container, it's almost impossible to grab the EPA-mandated lever when lifting that heavy container and directing flow from the spout to everything at once. This interchangeable spout eliminates that problem because you don't have to reach for the lever to open the gas flow. Highly recommended!
