I don't write many reviews and if I do it's because I really like it or I'm really disappointed. Unfortunately, this Delta shower head does not meet the acceptable mark. For what this showerhead actually does (features), compared to other hand held showerheads and for the price; big disappointment. The quality is absurdly CHEAP; The whole assembly is made of plastic. Everything is plastic EXCEPT for the main connector fitting which screws onto the shower head pipe. This link is the only metal, the rest is colored lightweight plastic. The main reason my wife chose to do this in the first place is because. 1. It's a Delta and 2. Our old existing hand held shower head was a plastic knot that snapped onto the handle and had to be replaced. Our old existing one lasted 3 years and was just worn out. My wife said, "I really want good quality; continuous. Nothing else from this pasta. I/we had a realistic expectation that the showerhead design would obviously include plastic, but EVERYTHING including secondary threaded connections; all plastic. It was an expensive (nearly $200) plastic box labeled "Delta". Actual functionality is literally mediocre at best. I had to remove the water restrictor o-ring to really feel like I was taking a shower. not sprayed with a water gun. After removing the restrictor with the o-ring it became much better to shower. However, this is really wrong and doesn't fall within the "choice" of what you want to hit your body with. There is a button on the detachable hand holder that allows you to select multiple spray options. There is also a small lever on the side of the main port fitting to differentiate between probe/main head options. This main selector is poorly constructed and not well thought out. If you are short, and depending on how high the shower head is on the shower wall; If you are lower, you will tiptoe to reach it. While this is not a problem for me, my wife finds it smaller and difficult to reach as this lever is too small and difficult to reach by design. Although the hand shower is magnetic, this is only a guide/aid for docking the device. You have to let it snap into place otherwise it will fall out. As banal as it sounds, my wife was enthusiastic about the "magnetic" function. This is deceptive because it temporarily holds the wand, for as soon as it is released the wand falls out; You must snap it into place to secure it. It's terrible design and terrible quality. We will return it. If we wanted quality 40 we would buy accordingly. For this price and notoriety, to call this Delta is appalling and insulting.
