Slips more than the original strap
For some reason these straps don't close as well as the factory strap. I used to be able to set the vacuum to the "BARE FLOOR" setting and the straps hooked in well enough to keep the brushes running. However, after switching to these belts, I can no longer do this. I have to go up 2 steps or the straps will slip and there is this nasty, unsightly burnt rubber smell. Not like that good burnt rubber smell you can feel on the track. This smell is rotten. But they rotate the bristles when I'm on the 2nd setting to make them work.
