Stylish but tricky tie

This tie definitely looks good - the regimental stripes exude authority and sophistication. I bought it for my nephew who wanted to attend the wedding and he looked quite elegant in it. However, I have a problem - it's pretty thin. It's not very visible in the photo, but you can see in person that it's narrower. This can make tying difficult, especially if you are not an expert in the art of tying a tie.
