I've used it to watch sports, concerts and TV and my wife has never complained about me turning the volume down . You are fantastic. Now, of course, she can complain that I can't hear her. I used to buy headphones from another brand but regardless of the price, they were cheaply made and broke easily. They are so comfortable to wear. I have an XL head size and sometimes the headphones are uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time, but I wear them for hours and have no issues. I would definitely recommend them or buy them again as a gift.
