I bought a lavender scent and used it for the first time last week. When I pushed my clothes from the washing machine into the dryer, there was definitely a lavender scent that didn't bother me because I liked it. When I took the clothes out of the dyeing machine, the smell was milder. Instead, my clothes smelled like clean fabric. I don't know how to describe it. If you like strong perfume on your clothes, you may not like it, or you should consider using scented fabric softener. But I like it. Now I'm not a particularly smelly lady, so not much funk to defuse. But I plan to use this for my teenage son's clothes. THAT will be a big challenge. If Defunkify can defuse their socks and underwear, I will continue to purchase this product and make offerings to the gods of purification scientists from time to time.
