The brush handle is strong and the brush itself is soft but strong enough to get the job done well without scratching the bottle. This length is sufficient for most standard bottles, but may not be suitable for narrow-mouth bottles. The straw cleaner is hidden in the brush shaft. With a simple twist, the straw brush comes out. There are two small drainage holes at the bottom of the shaft to drain any existing water, although despite the drainage holes, I can see the straw brush eventually becoming moldy from moisture. I think for the price this brush is a good buy. I don't know how long it will last, but let's hope it doesn't mold as quickly as my other brushes in the past.
