I spent almost two weeks researching every Android box I could think of and couldn't decide, so I decided to buy both a Minix TV box and an Nvidia Shield. My personal opinion is that they are very comparable in quality and simplicity. The processor is very responsive and fast. Streaming 1080 videos is no problem for this little guy. I'm running a major build of Kodi along with some pretty demanding APK apps and haven't had any issues so far. If you're buying this box, you really need to consider buying an A3 Air Mouse remote. This remote works amazingly well with this box. I feel like it should be I have a Rii i8 and it works fine but this remote was made for this box and it shows. My only knock on the remote is that it doesn't light up. And yes, it makes a big difference when the lighting isn't great. When the light is dim and I need to use the keyboard, I just turn on the lamp and everything is fine.
