Most of my music is now digitized but I still have a few CDs with interesting illustrations that I listen to from time to time. When my old AM/FM radio/CD player/cassette player died in the mid 1990's I looked for a replacement and settled on this one. I like it so much! . If necessary, it is easy to take with you and move from room to room. Now he is in the kitchen where our puppy sleeps. I love that this stereo has flashing lights - they have a soft hue/glow and create a nice 'night light' for the pup. It has decent sound and is easy to "tune in" to find a station. Part of the CD I haven't used yet, but seems usable. For the price, this little radio definitely surprised me!
