Review on Leather Travel Wallet Passport Holder Travel Accessories in Passport Wallets by Leslie Cyrius

Very attractive - passport holder

This birch leather travel wallet/passport holder is made from beautiful RFID-enabled leather (quite standard these days). First, it's a wonderful unboxing experience. It comes in a nice box with a little card explaining how to take care of your skin. However, the skin smells horrible. For example, an hour later my nose was tingling. I understand that I have a sensitive nose, but whatever methods Burch uses to treat his skin, it definitely leaves a STRONG chemical odor. I have to leave my wallet outside so it can air out a bit. This is a very large wallet. I would use this primarily as a passport cover. I can't imagine ever using it as a wallet when traveling internationally. Yes I can imagine using it as a passport holder because when going through airport security it's nice to have something strong to hold your passport. However, when moving through cities in other countries, I will NEVER carry my passport with me, nor will I ever carry a large wallet (I carry a small baggellini to wear under a jacket or sweater; or a hidden belt pouch Be careful!). Skin on burgundy is definitely purple burgundy. I find it a bit more feminine in style/color. The skin feels soft and smooth. This is a great product but be aware that it may not meet all of your travel needs.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Not quite as good as it promises
