Review on Black Office Star High Back Executive Chair with Locking 💺 Tilt Control - Padded Contour Seat & Back, Eco Leather, Matching Stitching by Andrea Sledge

This is my first review. The chair arrived quickly, inexpensively and was easy to assemble. The burgundy vinyl is very dark, more brown than red, and doesn't look very leathery, but still looks attractive. There is a slight plastic smell, but that will pass over time. This is not a comfortable chair - the seat, armrests and backrest are quite firm. Lumbar support is very pronounced. Let's see if that becomes a problem for me; Right now my lower back is quite sore after not spending much time in the chair, but I think unlocking the tilt might help. I'm 5ft 3" and about 148, adjusted all the way down, I can barely sit on a flat foot but this tilts the front of the seat down slightly which feels a little weird, the low footrest helps with that When the tension is fully released, the tilt/swivel will easily lock into place and come back quite a bit, but it will likely require some force to tip it over. To lock/unlock, move the seat lever inward/left or outward/right.) . Expect to tilt your head back. I have this on a hardwood floor and it rolls VERY easily, a good nudge on my desk would (almost) send me flying across the room (wait for the grandkids to find out!) and I roll back a bit when sitting down. It's not a huge issue, just something to be aware of as the wheels don't lock up and there's a chance your butt will hit the ground. I hope this works because there are days when I spend long hours at the computer and I have problems with my back and neck. I'll try to remember to update this review after spending some time with this chair.
