The booklet version of this (and it's really a booklet, not a complete book) plus the needles I received came with 4 different needle sizes. In that sense, I think it's good business. If you are looking to start tatting and need needles this is a great starter kit. The instruction manual itself has nice, clear photos and clear instructions. Combined with watching some tutorial videos online (of which you can find many), anyone familiar with other needle crafts will be up and running in no time. (I've been doing crochet and needlework for a long time.) While the tutorial pieces are great, it's just really boring. All proposed projects are so unattractive and just plain ugly. Even reprints of old tatting pattern books published by Dover and others or out of copyright and available for free are more inspirational. Raw materials. and it worked! That's it.
