This phone holder is great for our Pixel 4a 5G phones with slim TPU case. You can just throw your phone right in. The suction cup works great. My biggest concern is the ball joint at the end of the mount. If you try to mount it on the windshield in the usual way, the pivot is not enough to turn the holder towards the driver. He will point the phone at his knees. The only way to make it work is to stretch your arm out as far as possible and place the suction cup as low on the windshield as possible. This brings the arm straight back, allowing the ball joint to tilt the phone up slightly. It would be better if the ball joint was at a 30 degree angle at the end of the arm. It springs a little with a lever this long, but overall it's quite solid and comfortable to use.
