The trunk size doesn't quite match our car (Canam X3) - it doesn't cover the tires and the straps aren't long enough to use the cover/secure the car. For this reason, we will not use it for transportation, since there is a high possibility that it will be blown away on the road. However, this cover will work well for our purposes, i.e. protect the car from rain. The material is light and yet very durable. It actually got caught on the sharp plastic edge and my husband moved on without realizing he was stuck. The material is not punctured or torn which is impressive. Appears to be waterproof although we haven't had a chance to test it yet.
