Nostalgia is hidden behind this simple butter dish. My husband's grandmother kept a diary and of course devoted herself to the cows and dairy products. She passed away a few years ago and when we see little things that remind us of her we like to make them a part of our daily lives. Anyway, she always had this ceramic butter dish that looked exactly like this one. When I stumbled across it, I bought it immediately. It just arrived today and I was not disappointed. The oil blends in beautifully and looks great on the countertop. When my husband and his dad saw it, the first thing they asked was if it was her!
