Attention, this is not universal size
Buyers are required to receive some instructions with this product. I have been in the renovation industry for over 20 years. A humidifier installed throughout the house or furnace can only handle a certain amount of water. The outlet to the moistening pad itself should have an opening to reduce water flow to the pad. These valves are available in straight flow from 1/4" to 1/4". My Honeywell HE260 requires a 1/16 hole.
