Review on πŸ” Sears Craftsman Drawer Retention Clip by Anthony Grover

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Papaw Fixed Toolbox

Made in China, minus one star. The photos show how the old clip looks compared to these clips. They are different, but both work the same way in terms of preventing boxes from falling out. There are four clips in each drawer. So you need one pack per drawer if you don't have enough clips. The description claims they are easier to remove than the originals. Although not necessarily the case, they do not need to be removed. The originals can be removed by pulling the loop at the end of the clip with your finger. New clips do not have this loop, so a tool is required to remove it. By simply placing a flat head screwdriver between the clip and the drawer slide you should be able to pry them out easily, but you will have a hard time prying them out by hand. Installation was relatively easy. I had to use a knife to pry up the end of the clip a bit so I could install them. Without this, even tapping with a hammer will not work. In general, the product works great. Crates no longer fall out of my crate. If you have this problem I recommend these clips, they do exactly what they claim to do.
