Works great but strap is too long

I really like this belt so far. I use it to store dog treats, my phone, and either keys or poop bags. You can easily resize each segment, but the controls don't stay in place (FYI, but that wasn't a problem for me). My main issue is that in the smallest size, the strap is still too big so it dangles a bit. I'm an average height woman (size 8) not petite so I was a bit surprised. I also removed the yellow zipper hooks because they look ridiculous.
