Not suitable for use as contact paper

I bought this to cover some plastic drawers because I thought it would be similar to contact paper. It is very much wallpaper. It’s brittle, has a rough texture, and is not at all resistant to scuffs or scratches. I have very short fingernails and when I used my finger to smooth down an edge, it left a huge scratch from my nails. It sustained damage just by my attempts to place it on the drawers. I was able to make it work by using it more like wall paper (ie, straight edges only, only on perfectly flat surface) but I would not buy it again
