I have this on one of my forearm crutches (having it on both crutches would be overkill). I don't use crutches at night (except for some reason). This light is to warn people when I'm out shopping etc so I have fewer occasions where people don't see I'm on crutches and bumping into me (if I fall I can't get up without a lot of help). ) I have another brand of taillight that uses button cell batteries because I can imagine that if I can't charge it at that time and place the battery will die in that light. So I carried around a pack of button cells for non-rechargeable crutches. In the end, I decided that in the relatively short time I spend in stores, such a situation is unlikely to arise and in any case it will not be critical. I switched to it with my crutches. I had no problem installing it (using a screwdriver to set the target). I have no experience with the battery life. I can just charge it at home if needed before going outside.
