Bought specifically for processing hazelnuts. It does an excellent job. I pass nuts with a large hole. I drive the unsplit nuts a second time and reduce the hole. FUN AND EASY TO USE - It takes a few minutes at first to adjust the hole to the correct nut size. I also process black walnuts, but on a different machine. This machine will NOT work with black walnuts. It comes in an attractive box which I will use for special storage. No instructions. But it's intuitive. Ironically, it is made in Turkey (a major hazelnut producer). Just got back from a regular visit there and could probably buy it there for half the price! But c'est la vie. Looks very durable. It's easy to adjust the hole to fit any nut size. I expect this machine to last for many years. The result is an excellent machine for chopping hazelnuts.
