I got this little thing because I needed something to chop up onions and garlic and didn't take up much space. Done on 10.10. It's easy to clean, especially right after - I just rinse and let dry. Only criticism is that small bits of food can get stuck in the lid (see photo), but it's not annoying enough to deduct a star. He grinds wonderfully. I wouldn't put tomatoes in it unless you want mush (and maybe you want that in salsa). The blade is a little loose, but because you push it from the top with the motor, it's very secure. This means there may be a small gap between the bottom of the cup and the blade. Another feature I didn't notice when I bought it is that the black base comes off as a lid so you can make salsa or whatever. and then just put the lid on and stick it in the fridge. I warn you if you cut an onion in it, tear gas will still smoke when you open it. stay away from your face For its price and intended use, it's absolutely perfect.
