I ordered these covers because my Surface Pro has sensors to the left and right of the camera, so the typical sliding cover covers the sensors when open. In theory, that would be the ideal solution. . They only cover most of the lens and, when open, hardly protrude beyond the ring around the camera. Now, I'm not sure if the decisions made in the final product are budget related or something, but there are two main drawbacks in the final product. First, as mentioned, the glue is too weak to use. The force required to open the lid is not unreasonable, but the adhesive is so weak (I cleaned the area thoroughly beforehand) that the lid pops off immediately. The first time I thought something had accidentally gotten stuck, but the second time it was just as bad. The second problem is that they're so incredibly thin that I can still see what's happening when they're closed. I could see what was resulting in a "blurry" video for me, it's sort of "better than nothing" but it would be better if the product code was thin metal with a very strong adhesive. They had to update those two things and release a new version of the product, I would buy it and pay almost double the current price for it. if the product code is made of thin metal with a very strong adhesive.
