Used to solve for the hearing impaired!
I used this to split my TV's digital optical signal into two streams. This allowed me to send a signal to the soundbar system for the whole family with normal hearing and a signal to the bluetooth transmitter for the whole family with partial deafness. Those of us who are hard of hearing can plug in Bluetooth headphones (or hearing aids in some cases) and watch TV. No more yelling my wife out of the room! We were both very happy! No lag issues! No problems with the sound quality! NO PROBLEM!
