Savings on Power Strips
A ten foot cable makes it easy to install a surge protector near devices that need to be plugged into a power source. Especially in the garage where I only have one outlet on the wall. I plugged in an extension cord and then plugged in a surge protector. It feels durable and not cheap. The other one I bought was for the master bedroom. The outlet is centrally located behind our king-size bed, and a ten-foot cord puts the surge protector where it can be easily used.
