I've never liked the big chrome exhaust tips that came with my Lexus IS250. I wanted something more subtle, especially as the shiny stainless steel tips are always clogged with soot from the exhaust (the bane of modern direct-injected petrol engines). I took a gamble that these tips would work, and they do. And the dark smoky chrome finish is perfect for the understated look I wanted - and they won't deposit as much carbon as standard tips. Only time will tell with these tips how durable the finishes are and if they really are stainless steel and rust resistant. At the moment I am very satisfied.
