This is foam. I bought it to fill my humidifier for my humidor. The gel that came with it was junk. I was easily able to cut a piece that suited my needs. It wasn't the cleanest job I've done with foam, but I suppose it's inevitable with this type of foam. As part of a humidifier it worked great. Prior to use, my humidor (which is a 7-box, 300-cigar humidor) rarely exceeded 63% humidity. Now it stays constant 70% - 71%. This foam worked 100% perfectly for my idea. although I understand that very few of you will buy it for the same purposes as me.
