Review on ZOHAN 033 Bluetooth AM/FM Radio Headphones With 2000MAh Rechargeable Battery And 25DB NRR Noise Reduction Earmuffs For Enhanced Safety by Tim Thornton

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great basic functionality, marred by two problems with radio

Great sound, sound protection and comfort. Great selection of sound input: Bluetooth or wired to play from or stream through your phone, FM or AM radio with 10 presets on each band -- and the 4-button controls to manage all that capability without looking at the buttons are almost perfect. except for those presets. The 4 buttons are ON/OFF, M(emory), Forward(Up), Backward(Down), each with multiple context-dependent uses, almost perfectly chosen, except for this:The way to move from station to station in the FM or AM band is to press the M button until you get to the one you want. Pressing M moves to the next station Up in preset number (1.10) -- and if the destination is a lower preset number, you cycle up and around to get there. But with 10 presets in each band,(1) that can be an awful lot of cycling to get to the preset you want, and(2) it can be hard to remember the preset order of stations in that band.Unfortunately, it is not possible to have fewer than 10 presets in each band. They are all used, whether you need them or not. [It comes with all 10 presets in each band (20 in all) already set. You can not eliminate any, but can only change the channel assigned to a preset.] So listening to radio usually requires taking off the headset to change the channel. The other problem is also radio-related: AM reception is just not very good. It is difficult to get good AM reception in a package like this, but that's too bad if you like AM radio: You get 10 preset stations, but none very good.

Pros

Cons
  • Dead in 90 days, no power, won't charge...30 day warranty. World great until the warranty was over
