Review on Straightener COOLKESI Straightening Auto Off Frizz Free by Rachel Mercer

Heated brush loosens curls but doesn't completely straighten short hair

UPDATE: Don't count on getting Yuzhuorui's promised $30 Revain Gift Certificate for reviewing the product. I submitted proof of the original review as requested when I submitted my review and they emailed me back saying they need me to provide proof after the review was actually posted. Did that and still haven't received a single gift card. I suspect this is a scam to hack my email or a way to trick people into lying and posting dishonest product reviews to get a reward. Regardless, I've used this a few times to touch up my hair and it works for me, although my hair is easy to straighten. Bought for my son who has naturally wavy hair that tends to get frizzy and frizzy. Thought it would allow him to just brush it a few times after drying and make it look less puffy and wavy. Unfortunately it didn't help him. I've seen reviews of others saying it works on their short hair but I don't understand how it works. My son's hair is about 6 inches long and it just doesn't hold enough tension to straighten the hair. No waste because I have long hair and I can use it to refresh my hair on the second day after sleeping. The temperature can be easily adjusted using the plus and minus buttons. Easy-to-read digital display for temperature. Accidental burning seems almost impossible. I had a 450 degree setting and used it without a glove with no problems. I gave it three stars because it's supposed to be a straightening brush, but it would be better to just describe it as a heated brush. It doesn't really straighten your hair unless your hair straightens easily and doesn't have the weight to hold it up. It relaxes the hair and makes it less frizzy than usual, but does not completely straighten natural curls or waves from root to tip or remove puffiness. If you want straight hair, use a regular flat iron.
