The first bracelet we received was sent to us with the wrong year so we sent the money back but my daughter was upset because she really wanted this bracelet. Ordered and got the right one. It's cute and just like the photo except it can't be worn. My daughter is 14 and I am 38. It goes all the way up both of our forearms as it is too big. We tried compressing it to keep it on her wrist and of course it lost its shape and didn't look clean. It is more suitable on a wide man's wrist. So unless you have very, very wide wrists it won't fit and will fall off completely. At least that was the case in our case. I would find a different style bracelet, closed and wearable.
