We now have 2 of these trees in our front yard. The first was bought last year. I got it from the attic this year and it works great. This year we added a second tree. They put on a great light show. We circulate it through all the different patterns. Ours are set on a timer so they turn on in the dark and stay on for 8 hours. This year I took another reviewer's advice and zipped each light strand to the frame of a wire ring. Last year every wind sent garlands of lights everywhere. They are also nailed to the ground, otherwise the wind will knock them over. They are not quite level and the star also deviates a little to the side. But to be honest nobody can see it at night and the lights are really nice. I personally couldn't have this in my house as the lights are so bright and flashing so quickly.
