I used to buy wooden dolls for my kids but the only ones who were ever able to hold my kids were Melissa and Doug dressed in wooden dolls. I like knowing I'm buying a product that will last. The problem I had with other wooden dolls was that the vanity or decals on the top (human figures) really came off after all this time. It's not like this. I don't know how they do it but I have bought M&D dolls 2 times, once when my daughter was 4 and another set when she was 8. She still has both sets, just not a lot of clothes. I would recommend those with children to keep wooden dolls in a doll case. My daughter and her friends love that they are magnetic so you can easily switch them compared to the paper doll method.
