Review on π§ Enhanced Performance: 608 2RS Precision Shielded Greased Bearings for Power Transmission by Jay Ngo
Smooth-running but not free-running bearings.
These are plain bearings, I don't feel gritty but they have thicker grease in them so I don't think they are ideal for spinners or applications. where runout is critical. For my very low speed filament roller they are great. Would plan on cleaning/lubricating them if you want something free spinning like a jet engine model.
