I bought three of these. I discovered this while researching resources to protect my immune system during chemo. also bought one for my dad to use when he went to doctor's offices or to protect his immune system. We didn't "catch" the flu or a cold in the past year. I like that I felt safe walking into hospitals and doctor's offices that are full of patients with infections. The air purifier was easy to use and the battery life was more than acceptable; Batteries were only changed twice a year. I read reviews that the cord is itchy, but I didn't have such a problem. I have recommended this item to other cancer patients and nurses. I bought this third one for my brother to use when traveling; His allergies are caused by recycled airplane air and the elements in some hotel rooms. The only downside I have is that the original price was cheap but it had almost doubled when I bought the 2nd tamer and was almost triple the original price when I bought the 3rd. So sooner rather than later the word for the wise becomes order.
