It works very well for kitchen utensils and gadgets

Cutting slits in a chestnut with a knife can be difficult. This gadget really works. You need to play a little to refine the technique. I've found that placing the flat (or flatter) side of the nut toward the needles that drive the nut works best. It also required a lot of manual force to cut the nut. After that, however, you no longer need bandages.
