Bagel toasted unevenly

I think the toaster is easy to use and easy to clean (haven't tried cleaning it yet, just got it yesterday). My problem is that the toasts are uneven. As you can see from the photos, you can burn half your bagel and not finish half... I will update as things improve after more use.

Pros
